You wanna see the moon?

Google’s just surprised me again (as usual) opening a little Moon map to commemorate the anniversary of the first lunar landing (July 20th, 1969). They’ve got little imagery data, just the provided by NASA, but they are announcing that this service will be as good as Google maps is in a few years ;P.

Recovering lost password on WRT54GS

Some time ago I had troubles with my WRT54GS and finally, after some failed attempts to get it re-flashed using the boot_wait method, I’ve found a way to get into the router and change my password.

I’ve used the failsafe mode which allowed me to telnet in to the router, mount the jffs2 partition, edit the passwd file and change the root’s password copying it from my NSLU2. Yes I pasted the ciphered string right away so I’ve got same password in both machines.

Now I can to get my hands on OpenWRT again, but I won’t run Asterisk on it cause I’m planning to have it running on the NSLU2.

It’s sales time!

It’s sales time in Barcelona! I guess actually it’s in the whole country or are they around the world? I was shopping last Saturday some clothes I needed because I haven’t nothing on my wardrobe so I bought some shorts and t-shirts but also a linen summer suit. I only had one thing left cause I didn’t see its price reduced so I thought to buy it lately.

I was this morning surfing as usual, just looking for interesting news or nice opportunities for buying gadgets, DVDs, books, etc and…what was my surprise when accessing to amazon@UK I saw they’re on sales too! I decided to browse a little trying to see if my little desire was there with lower price. Ok…what the heck am I talking about? :P The Ultimate Matrix Collection 2003.

I remembered I was registered as user but with my old English address, so after changing my details in Amazon I ordered the Matrix set!! I was after it since it was announced but I always had better things to spend my money on…till now :D .

Now it’s time to wait, the package is supposed to be at home between next Friday (8th) and next Tuesday (12th) I hope I will enjoy the 10 DVDs inside the box as much as I enjoyed the three movies :) .

P.S.: Finally I got it by half of its price!
